MAINTAINING SAFETY AND ASSISTANCE

BIKE EXERCISE CLASSES ARE FOR AGES 18+

Coach Rosa’s lessons are coaching-based and do not include physical lifting of riders. For safety reasons, riders must be able to ride independently and get themselves up from a fall, or have a support person present who can assist them. Coach Rosa is unable to safely lift riders over approximately 130 pounds.

For this class, it is recommended that families have equipment to train at home. In cases where equipment is not available, Coach Rosa can travel in order to conduct the lesson by request.

Please note: These sessions are designed for riders who already know how to ride a bike. You don’t have to be fast or experienced, but you do need to be able to balance, pedal, and steer on your own. If you’re still learning to ride from the very beginning, you’ll be guided toward Learn to Ride classes first, and then you can move into exercise-focused training when you’re ready.
